Thanks for looking at my KX-175B.  This was in a C150D I am restoring.  It worked fine on the ferry flight home even with a failing battery and generator out.

This unit is in pretty good shape for a KX175B.  See pictures.  It is mod 9, if that means anything.  Controls are tight and feel as if they have had very little use.

With this unit is a tray and wiring back.  This radio was part of a dual KX175b setup.  The other 175 was gone and I do not know the history.  There is a KI208 indicator also on Ebay from this install.

Any questions, please ask.  It is about as good looking of a 175b that I have seen.

Thanks..

New Ford Focus (2011 / 2012) at Detroit

Mon, 11 Jan 2010

The 2011 / 2012 Ford Focus - starts out as a saloon or hatchback The new Ford Focus – possibly the most important car in Ford’s history – debuts today at the Detroit Motor Show. Which is in itself an indication that the 2011 / 2012 Ford Focus will be the beacon for Ford’s ‘One Ford’ policy of producing basically the same cars for markets throughout the world. Scheduled to start production at the end of 2010 – and start hitting customer’s driveways in early 2011 – the new Ford Focus is just one of ten variations on the Global C Platform which Ford will launch in the next few years.

Higher speed limits 'save lives'

Fri, 28 Feb 2014

AN INCREASE in the speed limits on some roads in Denmark has reduced traffic collisions and cut road deaths. The two-year trial has also found that higher speed limits on motorways have helped lower the number of accidents. The Danish road directorate conducted the trial on rural two-way roads where there had previously been an 80km/h (50mph) speed limit and increased it to 90km/h (56mph).

Want the Jaguar XKR-S GT in the UK? Then demand it.

Sun, 31 Mar 2013

The track-focused, but road-legal, Jaguar XKR-S GT is aimed just at North America, but Jaguar will build it for the UK if there’s demand. When we reported the arrival of the XKR-S GT last week, we knew the new Jag was being offered in the US (25 cars) and Canada (5 cars) but we didn’t know what the numbers where for the rest of the world. It turns out, at the moment, that the North American run is all there is.
