Subaru enjoys best-ever sales month in the US
Tue, 10 Sep 2013Subaru sold a whopping 41,061 cars in America during the month of August, which not only represents a 45 percent increase over August of last year, but also the best month of sales for the company, period. And it's not the relatively new Subaru BRZ that's leading the pack -- Subaru sold 15 times more Foresters than BRZs during the month of August. That's right, the summer days of sliding around town in a sporty coupe are coming to a close, and we think the answer for the ridiculously high Forester sales lies in a quote anyone with a television should be familiar with by now: winter is coming.
2009 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe, the AutoWeek Drivers Log
Fri, 28 Aug 2009EDITORIAL ASSISTANT JONATHAN WONG: There are some cars that look good, and then there are a few cars that look downright gorgeous. Astons fall into the latter category (except for the DB9 Volante). This Vantage coupe with its DBR9 racing green paint job is hard to miss--not for being an over-the-top, outlandish-styled car like a Lambo, but because it's just so beautiful.
MINI First introduced
Fri, 17 Jul 2009MINI has a new budget model - The MINI First With all things Eco the flavour of the month, and with budgets stretched in households everywhere, a cheap, entry-level budget MINI is a tempting prospect. You still get the iconic shape, and you still get a very good chassis – which translates in to good handling and a decent ride – but you’re not paying a fortune for the fripperies. After all, there are MINIs that will set you back £25k (the MINI JCW Cabriolet), but the new MINI First is a very tempting £10,950.
