Brand:MPC Placement on Vehicle:Front, Rear Manufacturer Part Number:650Q

Up for sale is a very light weight brake system that was custom adapted to a Honda TRX450R drag ATV by Ebarb Racing (Custom CNC).  Auction includes:
 - Martin Custom Products (MCP) 650Q 2 Piston Caliper - retails for $158 - perfect working order
 - MCP650LN Green brake pads for aluminum rotors (used but in good shape) - a set of these retail for $62
 - Carbon Fiber brake stay setup for Honda TRX450R ATV rear geometry and 40mm axle bearing carrier (with aluminum spacer)
 - BENT aluminum rear rotor (TRX450R brake rotor pattern) - rotor is unusable but can make for a good template to make another one

To my knowledge, the MCP caliper can be used on a variety of applications, including, but not limited to:  Go-Karts, Shifter Karts, Junior Jr Dragster, ATV/Quads, Quarter Midget, Mini Cups, Mini Sprints, and more

The last three pictures show the brake system installed on a Honda TRX450R ATV (ATV is NOT included).

Mini cancels the mini Mini, aka the Rocketman

Mon, 23 Jan 2012

BMW has recently signed off a slew of new Minis, many of which are revealed in the new February 2012 issue of CAR Magazine, but the baby Mini was not one of them. Why BMW has canned the mini Mini Mini showed the Rocketman concept as design study to show what a shrunken Mini true to the brand's core values could look like in the twenty first century.
