In good used condition are these factory-installed, made in Germany by Becker, Mercedes OEM radio and cassette players from mid-Nineties C series cars

This BE1692 superceded BE1492 and Alpine CM2294.  The former Becker unit is identical while the latter Alpine unit has slightly different shaped keys. All use the same rear harness connectors.

These should fit W140, W210 and w202 cars at least, e.g. C220, E320, S420

Typically the volume knob shows wear and tear since the rubber seems to be affected by human touch over time. If you ask before shipment, I will dip the knob in PlastiDip liquid rubber to make it look a little better.

It turns on and asks for code, which is written on top of each unit.

I guarantee replacement at my expense if the specific unit you receive does not function correctly--just send me an email under the "other" category (not "returns", please)
