Infiniti Q50 Executive – it’s for business users

Wed, 23 Oct 2013

Infiniti Q5 Executive – it’s for business users The new Infiniti Q50 (replacement for the old G37) was revealed at the Detroit Auto Show in January, prices for the Q50 were revealed in June (starts at £27,950) and comes in three trim levels – SE, Premium and Sport – but it seems there will be an additional trim option – the Infiniti Q50 Executive. With an eye to business sales in Europe, Infiniti has decided there needs to be a trim level aimed at business buyers (or those who do big miles), so they’re offering an Executive trim level for the 2.2 diesel version. As well as the normal equipment levels on the Q50 (which are pretty decent anyway) the Executive option gets, according to Infiniti, “One of the most advanced satellite navigation systems” plus some decent finance packages.

MINI Soho: MINI’s next ‘London’ Limited Edition

Mon, 01 Aug 2011

MINI Soho, photographed in…Soho In case you’d forgotten, MINI decided earlier this year that all their Limited Edition would be named after London Boroughs, districts and landmarks. Hence the new Limited Edition MINI arrival gets the MINI Soho moniker. And actually – although MINI has in fact used the Soho moniker before (on the MINI Soho Clubman last year) - it’s a perfectly good name for the MINI, a car that still evokes the swinging sixties and all things London.

New Infiniti Q50 starts at £27,950 for the Q50 2.2d

Infiniti are pinning the new Q50′s sporting credibility on Sebastian Vettel (pictured) Infiniti are hanging their future sales on a name change that sounds like a James Bond reference – with all Infiniti models now getting the ‘Q’ prefix – and Sebastian Vettel’s input and endorsement of the brand – he’s Infiniti’s Director of Performance (well, there’s a price to pay for Infiniti’s Red Bull sponsorship). The first outing for Infiniti ‘Q’ in the UK is the new Infiniti Q50, which gets a four cylinder 2.2 litre turbo diesel as its entry-level, and it looks quite promising with 168bhp and 295lb/ft of torque and emissions of 115g/km, which should mean official economy around 65mpg. Standard features on the Q50 2.2d include Infiniti inTouch (so you can Tweet and Like on the go), Infiniti Drive Mode Selector, Stop-Start, rear view camera, Climate, 17″ alloys, Voice and Bluetooth.
