Metra's GMOS-01 interface lets you replace the factory radio in select OnStar-equipped 2000-up GM vehicles using the existing wiring and connectors. Even if you don't subscribe to OnStar, you'll need this interface to connect an aftermarket stereo.

Hook the GMOS-01 to your aftermarket radio, mount the module, and plug it into the existing factory plug. Get the great sound you want, and keep all important safety features intact. And you can adjust volume settings for OnStar as well as the safety chimes. Also, once you turn off the ignition in these GM vehicles, the radio continues to play until you open the door. This interface maintains that function with your new aftermarket radio.

This interface is compatible with select 2000-up GM vehicles.

Note: The GMOS-01 will not work with factory-installed Bose car audio systems

2012 BMW M5 - another teaser video The tease for the 2012 BMW M5 started just ten days ago when we published BMW’s first M5 teaser video. Just the briefest of glances of the new M5 – still camouflaged – in a snowy, evocative landscape. But now we get what appears to be the same video only this time we get shots of the still camouflaged M5 cut in instead of cut out.

New Lexus Concept teased for Frankfurt. Is this the Lexus RC, the IS Coupe?

New Lexus Concept teased for Frankfurt With the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show now just a few weeks away, car makers are starting to tease their offerings, with this morning’s coming from Lexus with a tease photo for a new Lexus Concept. Lexus aren’t giving anything away, but it does look like this tease could be for the new Lexus RC – and a powerful RC-F – Coupe, a two-door version of the latest IS. That makes more sense from the proportions we can work out in the photo than a  first look at a more compact, sub-RX – SUV we also know is in the works, but we wonder how different it will be from the concept for the latest IS.

The futuristically styled plug-in hybrid was first revealed at the Frankfurt motor show in 2009. It is set to undergo an accelerated development program that aims to place the low-slung four-seater on sale in all of BMW's key world markets, including North America, by October 2013.
