Volvo Concept XC Coupé revealed. The Concept XC Coupe is clearly a very firm look at the 2015 Volvo XC90, but instead 0f previewing its as a seven-seat, five-door SUV, Volvo has chosen to deliver the Concept XC as a two-door, four-seat XC90 – think of it probably as Volvo’s X6 or an ‘Allroad’ version of the next XC90.

'400,000 children in smoky cars'

HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of children travel in smoke-filled cars every week, a charity has warned. The British Lung Foundation (BLF) estimates that in England more than 430,000 children aged 11 to 15 are exposed to second hand smoke in cars each week. The charity, which conducted analysis on official NHS data, said that 185,000 children of the same age are exposed to smoke while in the family car on "most days", if not every day.

Power is only expected to come from the 5.2-litre V10 engine, so the Spyder will send 518bhp and 390lb ft to all four wheels via either a six-speed manual or an automated-manual R-tronic gearbox. The R8 Spyder also has the same double-strake front intakes and rear vents as the V10, plus the chrome-surrounded central grille and twin oval exhausts.
