Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale arrives
Mon, 12 Sep 2011The Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale Lamborghini teased us back in August with the statement that Frankfurt 2011 would see a ‘Super Sports Car’ arrive from Sant’Agata. We thought it may be a road-going version of the Gallardo Super Trofeo and so it is, with the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale leaking out on the eve of the Frankfurt show. Mon, 15 Feb 2010Peugeot are taking the '5 by Peugeot' Concept to Geneva - the new Peugeot 508 Back in November we reported that Peugeot were going to stop producing the 407 and 607 and deliver a new car to fill the gap – the Peugeot 508. Which makes a whole heap of sense. Apart from in France it’s always been then case that the bigger the French car the poorer its sales are, and the poor old 607 hasn’t exactly set the world alight with its huge sale.
Vette plant to build high-performance engines
Wed, 30 Jan 2013General Motors is moving its Performance Build Center, which let enthusiasts pay $5,000-plus to build the high-performance engine for their Chevrolet Corvette, from Michigan to the Corvette assembly plant in Bowling Green, Ky. The move is expected to be completed by spring 2014. It will let a Corvette buyer build his own engine, with help from a GM technician, and then see it installed in his car as it goes down the Bowling Green assembly line.
