New Old Stock Silvertone AM radio for use in 1940 - 1950s six-volt applications.  In original box.  Silvertone manufactured this radio for Sears in 1949 – shipping card is dated May 10, 1949.  Beautiful face plate and dial face with translucent burgundy knobs.  Chassis has beautiful original burgundy finish.  Model number 528.6293-1A with speaker built into the unit.  Serial number A530738.  Includes original mounting hardware, noise suppression kit and the Operating Instructions and Parts List manual.  Stored very well for many decades.  Any questions email or call Fred @ 610.796.1446

Senate considers more funds for cash-for-clunkers program

A plan to add $2 billion to the fund passed the House and is being considered by the Senate, where is appears to have support, Reuters reports. The initial $1 billion clunkers outlay is nearly exhausted.
