NEW SURPLUS/OLD STOCK: (NOS). This is a NEW product and may or may not be in the original factory packaging. The packaging, which may show dirt, grease marks, felt/ink markings, labels torn, etc. as it has been around on the shelf in my parts room for some time, and under no circumstances will the old packaging affect the new item contained inside. In some cases, it will/might be cleaned and re-packaged by me to secure/present the item for sale. The item’s pricing is typically lower (the discount depends on the item) than a “NEW” item as the common industry perception is that it is less valuable (in some cases it is, others it is not) than an item packaged in a nice clean original factory package. Most old STOCK is of metallic nature and might have minor paint scratches or other superficial marks (I WILL NOTE IF THE ITEM DOES) but retains it useful NEW character/purpose at all times. Any NOS item carries the same warranty as a “NEW” item I sell.
