HERE'S AN NOS DOOR JAMB SWITCH FOR DOME LIGHTS AND/OR KEY BUZZER WITH "M B" STAMPED ON THE PLUNGER END. THESE WERE USED IN THE LATE 1960'S AND EARLY TO MID 1970'S ON MOSTLY CHRYSLER CORP. VEHICLES THAT USED TWO TERMINAL TYPE SWITCHES AND HAD THE LARGER INSTALLATION NUT. SWITCH IS UN-ADJUSTED AND ADJUSTS TO THE PROPER LENGTH WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSED AFTER INSTALLATION. THIS NUT IS 3/8" THREAD AND 9/16" HEX. YOU MUST CHECK YOURS TO MAKE SURE IT IS THIS SIZE AND NOT THE SMALLER SIZE. I BELIEVE THESE WERE ALSO USED BY SOME GM VEHICLES, BUT CHECK THE NUT SIZE. ONLY A FEW VEHICLES FROM THAT ERA HAD THE "M B" (WHICH I BELIEVE STANDS FOR MILTON BRADLEY THE SUPPLIER) STAMPED ON THE PLUNGER END. I'VE HAD THIS FOR DECADES AND CAN'T REMEMBER IF IT IS FROM THE ORIGINAL TIME PERIOD OR I GOT IT LATER. NO INDICATION OF USAGE BUT SOME MINOR HANDLING MARKS MAY APPEAR. Jaguar Top Ten all time cars celebrates Jaguar XE launch
Sun, 07 Sep 2014Messrs Callum, Johnson & March chose the Top Ten Jaguars Tomorrow – 8 September 2014 – sees the launch of the car that could make Jaguar a real force in the ‘Premium’ market – the new Jaguar XE. We’ve had lots of teases and detail of the new XE in the last few months, and now Jaguar are stating the heritage of the XE by publishing a list of the ten most important cars in their history, as compiled by a trio of Jaguar loving petrolheads – Ian Callum (Jaguar Designer), Brian Johnson (AC/DC main man) and Lord Charles March (he of Goodwood). The list kicks off with a 1930s Jaguar – the Jaguar SS100 – and goes on to include the Mark 2, C-Type, D-Type, E-Type, the original XJ6 and the Le Mans winning Tom Walkinshaw XJR-9.
Next Kia Rondo to debut at Paris motor show
