Audi greenlights new Q1 entry-level SUV

Previewed as a concept called Crosslane Coupe at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, the new price-leading SUV is planned to slot into the German automaker's lineup beneath the existing Q3. The price is expected to rival that of the Mini Countryman.

Sun, 18 Aug 2013A frugal new 1.0-litre SIDI three-cylinder turbo petrol engine will go on sale in the Vauxhall Adam city car in 2014, following its debut at next month’s 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The new low-emissions unit – a rival to Ford’s 1.0 Ecoboost engine in the Fiesta and Focus – will deliver “impressive fuel economy and CO2 emissions significantly lower than 100g/km”, according to Vauxhall. Saab reportedly bought by Chinese-led consortium
Fri, 08 Jun 2012A Chinese-controlled consortium has completed a deal to buy the assets of bankrupt Swedish carmaker Saab, media reports said. National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) will pay 1.5 billion to 1.8 billion kronor ($210 million to $250 million) for Saab, excluding spare parts company Saab Automobile Parts AB, according to reports in Sweden. NEVS did not confirm the reports.
