The clubman rev limiter from Omex features a user selectable hard or soft cut, this award winning microprocessor based design provides one of the smoothest cuts found on an aftermarket rev limiter. The limit can be set from 1,000 RPM to 20,000 RPM for 2 cylinder and 4 cylinder, 12,000 RPM for 6 cylinder and 10,000 RPM for 8 cylinder. This rev limiter is available in two options of single coil and twin coil and is not suitable for CDI ignition systems.

All Omex microprocessor based shift lights and rev limiters feature Omex's acclaimed method of calibration. Shift point and rev limit is set independently of the car's tachometer, thereby removing any instrument error by incrementing in steps of 100 RPM by simply pressing a button on the unit. Precise digital timing ensures response within one engine revolution.

The OMEX Clubman Rev Limiter is a high performance engine rev limiter. The Clubman Rev Limiter offers a switchable soft and hard cut rev limit reducing engine power safely as the user definable limit is approached.

The OMEX Clubman rev limiter is available in both single coil and a twin coil version for use on 4cyl DIS engines.

The aluminium platform the XJ uses is just the start for Jaguar Land Rover, as we reported back in 2009, and it seems that JLR are planning to use the move to aluminium underpinnings to cut their platforms to just two or three.

Car April Fools Stuff: BMW lead the way

Fri, 01 Apr 2011

BMW went to town on creating an M3 pick-up as an April Fools joke Just as we did last year with car April Fool stuff, it seems to make more sense to do a roundup of what hilarious pranks the motoring world – renowned for its sense of humour – has conjured up this year for your mirth than to run separate stories. BMW M3 pickup: BMW had one of its jolly japes for this year spoilt somewhat when spy shots of an M3 pickup were taken at the Nurburgring. But sources at BMW admitted it was part of a April Fools Day plan.
