Meet the new 2014 BMW 4-series coupe

Thanks to certain European websites, BMW's 3-series coupe replacement is out a few hours early. Here's the 2014 BMW 4-series revealed in production form. The 4 will take on the Audi A5 and Mercedes-Benz C-class coupe and make its public debut at the Frankfurt motor show in September.

The Fiat 500C Pink convertible hits the UK - but only 300 of them Fiat have been busy doing what BMW have done with the MINI – and Audi seem intent on doing with the new A1 – namely churning out special editions all over the place to keep punters interested and make sales. Step forward the Fiat 500 Pink, launched by Fiat a few months ago in the UK and limited to just 500 units.

Jaguar Land Rover factory closure

Jaguar Land Rover are to close one of their production facilities in the Midlands JLR unions have already brokered a deal to ensure no job losses in the short term, but JLR are committed to rationalising their manufacturing across just two plants in the UK, instead of the existing three. The decision will be made about which plant to close in the next eighteen months. The most likely scenario is that JLR will close Solihull – which currently produces Land Rovers and employs 5000 people – and concentrate Land Rover production at Halewood.
