Here we have an original Delco 987573 standard radio for all 1957 Chevrolet models.  Unit has been fully restored with new capacitors and tubes installed.  Bench-tested and working beautifully!  Face & knobs are in excellent cosmetic condition as well.  This unit is ready to install in your classic car!  Also included in this listing is the original Delco Radio Service Bulletin for this model.  The bulletin includes a detailed schematic and parts list.


These 1957 Delco radios are becoming increasingly hard to find; when they do turn up, they tend to be in poor shape, missing parts, etc.  Not only is this fine example complete, it sounds great & looks even better!  If you've been looking for an original Delco standard to install in the dash of your classic `57 Chevy, don't let this rare unit get away!  This is a no-reserve auction.  I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Nissan plans to build the Infiniti JX in Tennessee

Nissan Motor Co.'s assembly plant in Smyrna, Tenn., will build the new seven-passenger Infiniti JX crossover next year, the chairman of Nissan Americas said Wednesday. The move is part of Carlos Tavares' mission of getting Nissan and Infiniti products out of yen and into dollars, but that will require the automaker to move some products around. Tavares also wants to buy more parts from North American suppliers.

That means a simplified lineup for the new Mondeo and the introduction of a cheaper entry-level model – the Mondeo Graphite – and a new model at the top end – the Titanium X Business Edition – with more equipment and a lower price. The Mondeo Graphite comes with 17″ alloys, sports suspension, Bluetooth, AirCon and part leather and starts at £15,995 – more than £2k cheaper than the former entry-level Mondeo Edge. At the other end of the scale, Ford are introducing the Titanium X Business Edition which replaces both the Titanium and Titanium X, gets more equipment than the Titanium X and yet costs £1500 less.

Infiniti confirms Q30 concept unveil in Frankfurt

Infiniti is to unveil the Q30 concept C-segment hatchback at next month's Frankfurt motor show. The Q30 concept, which has been previewed in a sketch, could be a pre-production version of the Etherea – first seen at the 2011 Geneva motor show –based on the same platform as the Mercedes-Benz A-Class. It's the carmaker's latest exploration into new premium segments and signifies an expansion of its product range as it moves to strengthen its global position.
