When I came across these lamps I couldn't believe my eyes. Stated simply they just don't make these anymore and they haven't in a very long time.
These lamps / bulbs were used in many vintage applications such as police, fire, school buses and emergency vehicles. Some are used in hotrods as well.

This is one of several vintage bulbs or head lamps I currently have on auction.  You may combine purchases for a better shipping rate.

Mercedes GLA – the A-Class SUV – will arrive in production guise at Frankfurt

Sat, 10 Aug 2013

The production version of the Mercedes GLA Concept (pictured) will debut at Frankfurt 2013 It’s only three months since the new Mercedes GLA debuted at the Shanghai Motor Show as a concept, but it’s already close to arriving in production guise. In fact, it looks like the new GLA – based on the new Mercedes A-Class underpinnings – will arrive in production form at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show, ahead of going on sale in early 2014. The new GLA is aimed squarely at the competition from the BMW X1 and Audi Q3, and if it delivers as well as the A-Class has it stands a very good chance of becoming the pick of the premium compact SUVs.

Rare foreign cars head to Carlisle this weekend

Thu, 15 May 2014

Every spring, Carlisle, Pa., (otherwise known as the Woodstock of the classic-car hobby, a title it now fully shares with Hershey) hosts a weekend event just for foreign cars. Last year, over 1,000 cars gathered in central Pennsylvania, with rare foreign machinery making its way from all over the lower 50 and parts of Canada. The longest-traveled cars we spotted last year wore British Columbia plates, which should give you a clue as to the event's following, though we're still unsure which cars we spent the longest time gawking at.
