Toyota Sports GRMN Hybrid Concept II - named in honour of Hiromu Naruse The New Toyota MR2? Probably not. But the Toyota GRMN Sports Hybrid Concept II is certainly in the same mould as the MR2, and does show that Toyota hasn’t forgotten how to make an appealing car – even if it is a hybrid.

Update: Audi TT-RS – more images

We did a piece yesterday on the Audi TT-RS teaser images released by Audi ahead of the TT-RS launch at Geneva in March. But now we’ve got some more pictures, even though they are not official Audi releases (excuse the less than normal quality). It would make much more sense for car makers to stop teasing and do things properly.

McLaren X-1

McLaren Special Operations unveiled a one-off supercar this weekend at Pebble Beach called the X-1, designed exclusively for an anonymous enthusiast. Following a consultation with the client a design by McLaren's Korean-born RCA graduate Hong Yeo was chosen. "X-1 embodies the McLaren value that every part has to have a purpose," said Yeo.
