THE PHOTOS DON'T DO IT JUSTICE!

Old Eagle mascot in excellent original condition. I'm not sure what year or model this is for. It is mounted on a Ford Model T solid cast brass radiator cap. The ornament and cap are both very heavy, solid brass metal. The Eagle stands approx. 3 1/4" tall (not counting the cap) with a 1 7/8" wing span and has very nice detail. It is in excellent original used condition with no wear, pits, dings, dents, scratches, cracks or missing pieces, it does have a little light age tarnish (see photos). IT HAS SUPER DETAIL! The cap itself is solid brass and in excellent condition with no damage and the threads are mint (see photos). An over all great display piece! Any imperfections in the photos are only glare, reflections or shadows. Sorry about the poor photos!

Hyundai ix35 makes it to Harrods

Tue, 08 Jun 2010

The Hyundai ix35 makes it to a Harrods window display We’re not too sure whether we should take the news that the Hyundai ix35 will take pride of place in one of Harrods’ Brompton Road window displays is indicative of the progress Hyundai has made in the last couple of years, or it’s the new owners’ policy to show its visitors what the proletariat are driving these days. Whichever it is, there will be a top of the range Hyundai ix35 Premium in dazzling white strutting its stuff – well, sitting in the window anyway – in one of Harrods’ window displays for the whole of this week (w/b 7/6). This whole ‘Hyundai in Harrods’ is a bit of PR flim-flam to get some headlines and copy (see, it works) but it does show just how far Hyundai has come.

Volvo, Geely working on shared architecture

Tue, 17 Sep 2013

Geely and its Volvo ward are working at developing a new compact car architecture that will be shared by both companies. For Volvo, this means a smaller luxury car, possibly a few. The platform will be modular, as is practically required in this day and age, ready to underpin different body styles or—if need be—an entirely new lineup.
