This is a rare. vintage Operator's Manual for 1946 Ford Passenger Cars, Models 69A and 6GA. It is 8 7/8" x 5 7/8", 41 pages, dated April 1, 1946. It contains information, photos, diagrams & charts, in three sections covering: Sec. I - Controls and Operation Pgs. 4-13 Sec. II - Maintenance, Tires, and Trouble Shooting Pgs. 14-35 Sec. III - Specifications Pgs. 36-41 This manual is in good condition for its age, but does have some wear and condition issues: small tears on front & back cover, and a few pages; smudges and notations by previous owners on front & back cover, and 1st page; some light water stains & dog-earing of some pages; and center page is loose from binding, but all other pages are attached. This extraordinary detail was revealed last night by Ian Robertson, the company's global marketing chief (pictured above left, alongside the BMW i3 in London). Normally, test drive requests for a conventional petrol or diesel car are fulfilled on the same day when you visit a new-car showroom.
Tesla touts top sales at Detroit auto show
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Tesla credits the "exceptional cold weather performance" of its Model S for 20 percent-higher-than-expected Q4 sales of 6,900 units, bringing total Model S sales worldwide to 25,000 so far. In fact, Tesla says its sedan does so well in the snow that the rear wheels are the only ones that need any torque. "This car performs outstandingly in winter conditions," said Tesla vp of vehicle engineering Chris Porritt in a video released the day of the Detroit Auto Show.
