Rebuilt 6-cylinder piston and rod set. Fits 1941-1953 Chevy Chevrolet 216 6-cylinder engine. Pistons are .060" over. Rods are part number 3701890. Set was sitting on a shelf for years in a close dealership and have some surface rust/patina on them, see pics for condition. Will probably need a cleaning before use.

Ellesmere Port Celebrates Five Decades Of Production

VAUXHALL recently celebrated 50 years of production at its Ellesmere Port facility by recreating the original 1964 press image of the first vehicle coming off the line, in the same production location with today’s Astra alongside. The first new car to be produced at Ellesmere Port was a Vauxhall Viva HA, a model name that would run in a number of variants until 1978, when it was replaced by the Chevette. The Viva cost £527 7s 11d at launch.

Not that you’d notice – sandwiched in between a number of specialist marques with unpronounceable names, the European debut of the BS6 and BS4 saloons and BC3 coupe (above) didn't attract too many camera flashguns. But make no mistake, Brilliance will, we predict, be an automotive household name 10 years from now.

New design boss for Land Rover

McGovern currently leads Land Rover's advanced design department, a think-tank examining the future look and concept of the firm's 4x4s. He has also worked for Ford's North American brand Lincoln, as well as helping to create some stunning cars at Rover Group.
