Who's Where: Taewan Kim appointed Vice President of Design at GM Daewoo

Taewan Kim has been promoted to Vice President of Design at GM Daewoo. Having started his career in International Automotive Design in the United Kingdom in 1991, Kim was involved in designing various Japanese and European automobiles, including British Airway's First Class seat design. From 1995, he served as Chief Exterior Designer at the former Daewoo Motor Company, leading the exterior design of the Magnus, Lacetti, Kalos and Matiz.

Nissan could leave UK if Britain leaves EU

Nissan chief executive Carlos Ghosn has warned that Nissan could leave the UK if the public vote ‘yes’ in the EU referendum promised by the Conservatives should they win the 2015 General Election. Ghosn gave the warning to the BBC while he was in London to launch the new British built Nissan Qashqai. McLaren slows MP4-12C production for fixes

British supercar maker McLaren has slowed production of the MP4-12C because of quality issues. The company says the problems are not safety- or performance-related. "There are no safety concerns for the delay," Tony Joseph, director of McLaren North America, told Autoweek.
