BMW had a number of debuts at the Detroit auto show this year -- we got our first (official) looks at the 2014 2 Series coupe, 2015 M3 sedan and the 2014 M4 coupe on the show floor. The electric i3 city car and its plug-in hybrid i8 supercar cousin were there as well, along with a massaged 2014 BMW Z4 convertible. Opel has taken the normal recipe for the CrossFour, with plastic bits bolted on to the bumpers and wheel arches, a higher ride height and the obligatory four wheel drive, and mixed them in to the very capable Insignia Sports Tourer.

Aston Martin Racing to sell V8 Vantage and DBR 1-2

Aston Martin Racing is offering for sale two pedigreed race cars for display -- both sporting the legendary Gulf Oil livery -- for the low, low price of $379,300 each, converted today from British pounds. The V8 Vantage GTE chassis No. X2 competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2012.
