Daimler and Renault-Nissan unveiled the details of an international alliance on Wednesday in a landmark collaboration designed to fortify the three historic automakers by sharing technology and reducing costs around the world. Organised by the Royal Automobile Club, the annual 60-mile event started at Hyde Park at 6.58am, with a ceremonial finish along Brighton's Madeira Drive starting just three hours later.
