We’ve seen the design sketch of the new Infiniti Q30, and now here’s the first picture of the idea made real: it’s the Q30 concept car that’ll attend the Frankfurt motor show in September. Andy Palmer (pictured) is taking the reins at Aston Martin Lagonda Aston Martin has effectively been without a boss since Ulrich Bez stepped down from the role last year, but that changes with the announcement that Andrew Palmer – until now, Chief Planning Officer of Nissan – is to step in to the role. There’s no specific start date for Andy Palmer at Aston, but Nissan has announced that Philippe Klein will take up Palmer’s role at Nissan on 15 September, so it shouldn’t be long before Palmer holds the reins at Aston Martin. But what exactly has persuaded Andy Palmer to jump from a big corporate behemoth like Nissan to a struggling luxury car maker with owners who either want to tug the operating strings (the Kuwaitis) or are looking for a quick return (Investindustrial)?

The Cadillac CTS-V Wagon / Estate will debut at the New York Motor Show After Bob Lutz’ comments that the Cadillac CTS-V will come in any flavour you want, we’ve known that not only will there be a CTS-V Coupe – which was officially revealed in January at Detroit – but that there would be a Cadillac CTS-V Wagon as well. The arrival of the CTS-V Estate became certain when we got hold of spy photos of the CTS-V Estate and now Cadillac has issued official pictures of the load-lugging, barn-storming Wagon ahead of its official reveal at the New York Motor Show this week. Cadillac aren’t calling the New York Show Car a Concept, but nor do they consider it a production version.
