Mercedes-Benz buys naming rights to the Louisiana Superdome

New Orleans' Louisiana Superdome, home at one time or another to Super Bowl champions and Hurricane Katrina refugees, is now home to a luxury-car brand. The arena was renamed the Mercedes-Benz Superdome this week after the carmaker acquired naming rights for 10 years. "The investment being made by a premier international brand who believes in 'the best or nothing,' is a tremendous compliment to all of those who worked so hard to make the stadium what it is today," said Tom Benson, owner of the NFL's New Orleans Saints.

2014 Lexus CT 200h Facelift to debut at Guangzhou Motor Show Remarkably, the Lexus CT 200h arrived as a ‘baby’ Lexus more than three years ago at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, so it’s time for a bit of a facelift. That facelift for the 2014 model year will debut next week, not at the big shows in Tokyo or Los Angeles but at China’s Guangzhou Motor Show before going on sale as the 2014 Lexus CT 200h. Ford targets Toyota Prius with C-Max Energi crossover

Ford is going after the Toyota Prius with its new C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid. In its latest release, the Blue Oval called out the best-selling hybrid seven times while announcing the new crossover's fuel, range and pricing. Ford says the C-Max Energi will travel 550 miles on one tank of gas.
