Condition:New

This is a NOS original set of red front floor carpets for a Series 3, Series 4 or Series 5 Sunbeam Alpine that is left hand drive.  Also included is the left side carpet that goes behind and under the seat.   These are original heavy weight Rootes carpets that are over 50 years old.  Note the original snaps that would snap to the floorboards and the strap which goes up and over the steering column and snaps to the carpet to hold it in place! The left side front carpet measures 45 inches long and 22 inches wide. The right side front carpet measures 39 inches long and 22 inches wide.  The left side rear carpet measures 23 inches wide and 19 inches long.  A Sunbeam Tiger uses carpets that are about 17 inches wide on the left side and 20 inches on the right side so these carpets could be tailored to fit.  The left side rear carpet is the same for a Tiger or an Alpine.  If you have a black or white Sunbeam that came with red carpets this is a chance to get some original carpet!

Buying and selling on eBay is supposed to be fun! I try to make it that way. No long lists of negative and threatening sounding rules and regulations to read before bidding on my items. I will ship parts anywhere in the world and gladly take PayPal. I charge minimal shipping fees and many times ship items for free. I will state the charges in the auction so there are no surprises when it comes time to pay. I will gladly combine multiple items you may win from me and ship them in one box to save on your shipping costs.  Items will be mailed the day after I receive your PayPal payment. Parts will be mailed via Priority Mail if in the USA and they will be well packed so they arrive to you in excellent condition-and I won't ship anything in an old cereal box or charge you Priority Mail rates and mail parts to you via cheaper and slower 1st Class Mail! Most important-I won't sell any junk or anything that I would not use on my own cars. I have never ended an auction early so if you want to bid on one of my items, rest assured that it will be posted for the entire seven days so as to be fair to everyone. Thanks for reading and bidding and for looking at my other auctions!

Like the current Z4, its predecessor and the Z3 before it, as well as every generation of Supra, the new platform will feature a front-mounted gasoline engine. From there, things look to be diverging wildly as technology marches forward.

New Porsche 911 Speedster reportedly in the works

Tue, 12 Nov 2013

When European-car importer Max Hoffman suggested to Porsche that the American audience might like a cheaper, open-top version of the company's 356, Stuttgart responded with the Speedster. And while every Porsche partisan is a special snowflake -- some love road-going racers like the 904, others can't imagine life without a roof-rack-equipped 912, others go gaga for anything with a legit, lift-off Targa top, and some folks just really, really, really love 924s -- the Speedster's the light, lovable kid brother for which any fan of the marque has a measure of affection. Porsche knows it, and as such, they've introduced limited Speedster models of every 911 series since the 3.2 Carrera -- except for the oft-maligned 996 (which is still loved by its proponents, IMS-bearing issues aside).
