Trutrak Digitrak Single-axis Autopilot on 2040-parts.com
Adel, Iowa, United States
Comes with 9 foot pre-wired harness. Tested and guaranteed to work. For the price of a wing-leveler, you also get a AP that will follow a GPS track. Or for less than the price of an AP servo you get a whole system. Basic Operation Once the aircraft is off the ground and at a safe altitude, the autopilot can be engaged. There are two ways to engage the autopilot. Pressing the 'On-Off' button will engage the autopilot. If a GPS signal is present, the autopilot will display the current track and will now hold the track. If there is no GPS signal the display will show “–| – |–” and will be in “heading hold” mode instead of track hold mode. The second way to engage the autopilot is with the Control-Wheel Switch, pushing and holding the control wheel switch for approximately 1-1/2 seconds and releasing will engage the autopilot. Portable GPS’s Many new handheld GPS’s have adequate output required to fly a TruTrak autopilot. Porsche 911 RS models through the ages – on video
Fri, 26 Mar 2010By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 26 March 2010 06:35 Porsche GB has issued a rather cool video detailing the history of the 911 RS models – filmed in situ at the new Porsche Experience Centre in Silverstone.Unlike most corporate videos, this one is remarkably free of commercial sells – although we should remember its presenter will be a tad biased! But we're posting it here because we reckon it's a great video guide to the most hardcore of 911s, tracing the history of the lightweight Renn Sport specials all the way back from the 1973 original up to the present day.>> Rip-off or rip-rorting? Dual-clutch transmission put on hold at Chrysler
Mon, 14 Nov 2011Chrysler Group has delayed introduction of a fuel-saving automatic transmission so it can make the shift patterns more palatable to U.S. drivers--the latest sign that a key tool in automakers' plans to meet tougher fuel-economy rules needs some fine-tuning. Two weeks ago, Ford Motor Co., which uses a similar dual-clutch transmission in its Fiesta and Focus, took a hit in Consumer Reports' annual reliability survey because many drivers complained about balky shifting.
