  US Navy Elgin Grade 562 A-7 2 1/4" 8 Jewel Aircraft Clock Gold Plated Mvmt + Box. Original glow dial and refurbished hands to match using 2 part epoxy binder. Has all 12 numbers on dial. Gold plated movement shows no pivot wear at all. Photo of movement is what they look like, all the same if gold plated. Almost looks new! Comes with original box. Clock was completely dis-assembled, all parts cleaned very well, re-assembled and lubed properly with 5 kinds of Moebius oils. The best! All clocks I sell are GUARANTEED to keep good time. Local Motors XC2V Competition
Tue, 15 Feb 2011Local Motors, producer of the Rally Fighter, has teamed up with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to host a design contest. The partnership, which was made possible within the Adaptive Vehicle Makes initiative, aims to create an Experimental Crowd-derived Combat-support Vehicle (XC2V), exploring the potential of a crowd-sourced design for military use. The initiative to develop a crowd-derived vehicle body design for the US military was created in an effort to decrease the time and developmental costs associated with creating niche military vehicles.

Fri, 11 Jul 2014The Hyundai ix35 FCEV completes record distance on a tank of hydrogen Now the Hyundai ix35 FCEV (the hydrogen-powered version of Hyundai’s iz35) is starting to move out in to the real world (in a small way) Hyundai are keen to shout about its abilities. And perhaps its greatest ability is to do everything an ICE-powered ix35 can do, but doing it using hydrogen to create electricity to power the IX35′ electric motors, but do that in a way that creates a car with the same sort of range as an ICE car and the ability to refuel in a very similar way, and in a very similar time. So Hyundai decided to fill the tank up on an ix35 FCEV in Oslo and head off to Copenhagen to see if they could do it without needing to fill up.

Fri, 14 Sep 2012SAIC Motor has announced the appointment of Martin Uhlarik as its new UK Design Director amidst plans to significantly expand its European Design Center at Longbridge, UK. Canadian-born Uhlarik has been appointed by Tony Williams-Kenny, who takes over as Global Design Director at SAIC's Shanghai design base. Uhlarik comes in with experience as Senior Interior Designer for Skoda's Prague studio, Project Design Leader for Nissan Design Europe in London.
