Used OEM AM 12V Push Button Radio 1955 1956 Belair Nomad Sedan Delivery 150 210

Nice clean used OEM AM push button radio for all 1955 1956 Belair Nomad Series 150 Series 210, Sedan Delivery - Chevrolet passenger cars. Correct "Bowtie" insignia on face lens. Has lots of sparkle with the usual patina for a 58+ year old part. Presents very well. Wires look to have some of the usual dry rot and fraying. Tuner dial drags, shows resistance, possible slipping at about 1250 + AM searching to higher frequency. Push buttons/station tuning pull out and push in but feel tight/gummed up so disassembly, cleaning and reassembly is recommended. Just out of long term dry storage and fairly clean. No knobs, bezels or speaker included. Sold as is, parts only, radio will need cleaned and repaired but hook it up to a 12V circuit and a good speaker first to see what it does! Look the pictures over, what you see is what you get.

New Range Rover (2013) wins Top Gear Luxury Car of the Year

Fri, 07 Dec 2012

The 2013 Range Rover – Land Rover’s new Flagship SUV – has won its first major award as Top Gear Luxury car of the year. Interestingly, it seems Land Rover are as sceptical as we were about the proclamation by the Sunday Times in October that the 2013 Range Rover was their luxury SUV of the year, despite never even driving it. Not that anyone is doubting the new Range Rover’s right to such a gong, just that it seemed odd to award it to a car that was still too new to judge.

Citroen C3 e-HDi 70 Airdream EGS VTR+ emits just 87g/km CO2

Tue, 08 Nov 2011

Citroen C3 e-HDi 70 Airdream EGS VTR+ emits just 87g/km You do have to wonder sometimes just how much we actually need expensive technology like hybrid powertrains and EVs when cars with conventional ICE engines can manage ridiculous mpg and emit little Co2- cars like the Citroen C3 e-HDi 70 Airdream EGS VTR+. Citroen has announced that their super-frugal C3 with a ridiculously long name (which fortunately doesn’t seem to be painted on the boot lid) and which was first seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in September, is now on sale in the UK. The figures for the C3 e-HDI really are quite remarkable.

Chrysler moves design boss Ralph Gilles to lead new SRT brand

Tue, 07 Jun 2011

Chrysler Group on Tuesday shuffled the heads of its vehicle brands, placing design chief Ralph Gilles in charge of the newly created Street and Racing Technology (SRT) brand while handing his duties as head of the Dodge brand to Reid Bigland. The move is a way of getting all of the automaker's SRT efforts together under one leader, spokeswoman Shawn Morgan said. Gilles, 41, will still be in charge of Chrysler's motorsports activities and the design for Chrysler, Dodge, Ram and Jeep vehicles.
