Vintage Heritage FM Radio Converter

Plugs into your existing  car 8 track tape player and adds FM tuning withOUT having to tear out the existing vintage tape player in your old Ford Mustang, Desoto, GTO or almost any old car, truck, RV or boat!

I never used this kind of converter before and I don't have an 8 track player to test it in so I am selling it ASIS and untested, not guaranteed to work, but I don't see any obvious physical problems with the unit, just needs a little cleaning and looks like previous owners took good care of it.

Merdad vision of the Range Rover Evoque – the Evoque Mer-Nazz

Tue, 25 Oct 2011

The Merdad Evoque Mer-Nazz We’re already starting to see the first efforts of the pimpers, tuners, modders and customisers on the new Range Rover Evoque surfacing, and the latest is the Merdad Evoque Mer-Nazz Regular readers with good memories will remember Merdad as the man unfortunate enough to be the UK arm of the Gemballa operation when everything went wrong for Uwe Gemballa. That meant the end of Gemballa in the UK, but Merdad has bounced back with his now eponymous company to create extreme cars for those with tastes for more unsubtle forms of car customisation. Merdad’s first effort was a very Gembala-esque two-door Cayenne, but he went British with a subsequent effort when he created the McLaren MP4-12C MehRon, which we took to be an homage to Ron Dennis.

AutoWeek archive: Carroll Shelby Pit-Stop deodorant

Mon, 27 Jun 2011

As you’d expect from a publication with the rich history of AutoWeek, the back issues are filled with a treasure trove of forgotten funniness. Today’s example? Pit-Stop deodorant from none other than the chicken man himself, Carroll Shelby.

2013 Subaru Forester revealed

Thu, 01 Nov 2012

The new Subaru Forester – a 2014 Forester for the US – has been revealed ahead of a debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show this month. The Forester still looks like a Forester although it is a bit longer, wider and taller and gets a longer wheelbase which, say Subaru, means more space in the back seats and more room ion the boot. There are cosmetic tweaks with a crease running down the flanks under the window line, a new grill and bumpers, new alloys and a more slick feel to the looks. There’s extra toys too with a new Infotainment centre with smartphone integration, SatNav with reversing camera and a nice upmarket Harmon Kardon sound system.
