This is an NOS vintage Red "button style" lucite lens dash light, 5/8" across with new 1-1/2" lens holders. If you also prefer OEM Dialco vintage lens holders,add $2. The last single light picture is from a vintage Stewart Warner parts
catalog. SW part # D-420125. Excellent original condition. Vintage metal bezel with high polish finish, with very light patina. SCREW
IN 12 or 6v bulb, (12v bulb is included)
and you're good to go. These were made many years ago, and they are
similar to the type used in the SW panels of the fifties with winged
gauges and Ford Model A panels. They are perfect for turn signals, or warning lights. Complete with dash fittings and bulb holder, and 12v bulb. This is a great-looking light, and the curved lens versions are really tough to find. Great for the dashboard

Volvo You concept is the shape of things to come
Mon, 19 Sep 2011The sleek Volvo concept unveiled at the Frankfurt auto show is headed to production, said Volvo Chairman Li Shufu. "The board has approved production of the concept, known as You, but the timetable has to be finalized,'' Li said during an interview at the Frankfurt auto show. He said it will be "somewhere around 2015." It's part of the plan by Chinese owner Zhejiang Geely to move the Volvo brand upscale.

While the automaker already makes considerable use of sustainable materials in its vehicles – such as soy foam seat cushions and straw-filled plastic for interior trim – this latest discovery opens up a wealth of new possibilities for automotive applications. According to research conducted by Ford, a milky-white substance that is found in certain dandelion roots can produce a sustainable rubber that could be used to create plastic parts for vehicle interiors.
