Up for bid is a new Winegard model TR-2000 Satellite Antenna Tripod/Base Mount in excellent condition (see PICs). Here's what the manufacturer has to say about this product: Great for short stops, wooded areas, boat docks, RVs,  decks and more. Works with a standard 18" single satellite viewing dish. Azimuth degree markings are molded right into the base. Includes removable legs, ground anchor, bungee cord, compass and bubble level. This weather resistant premium quality satellite mount is pre-owned, but have never been installed or used (see PICs). Please note that the box has some water stains on the outside, but the items inside are brand new and in excellent condition. Just 1 of at least 10 Ferrari 458 Italia Fires Update 1/9/2010: It took Ferrari a while to catch up with our story – well, a couple of days – but they got there. Ferrari say the fires on the 458 Italia are caused by the glue attaching a heat shield catching fire under high temperatures. Which sounds extremely odd, but that’s the explanation.

The Nissan Leaf goes on sale in the UK in September We recently reported that the Nissan Leaf has exceeded all expectations after going on sale in Japan and the US, managing to acquire 19,000 orders in the briefest of time – twice the planned annual rate of production. We half expected that news – great though it is for Nissan – to delay the launch of the Nissan Leaf in Europe. After all, if you’ve already taken orders for twice as many cars as you can produce in the first year you’d think you’d get production ramped up before you start taking more orders.

Ecurie Ecosse is a name that will need no introduction to classic motorsport fans. Established in 1952 by Edinburgh racing driver and businessman David Murray and mechanic Wilkie Wilkinson, this racing team is famous for two things – its stunning Flag Blue Metallic paint scheme and winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In fact, Ecurie Ecosse won Le Mans twice – back-to-back in 1956 and 1957, securing two of the three victories there for Jaguar’s D-Type.
