Subaru Cross Sport Design and Viziv Evolution concepts at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013
Fri, 22 Nov 2013Subaru showed two other concepts alongside the Levorg at the Tokyo Motor Show – both of which are interesting, neither of which came with very much information. The Subaru Viziv Evolution proposes a three-motor hybrid all-wheel drive system, similar to that under development by Honda, while the Subaru Cross Sport Design concept appears to be nothing less than a shooting brake estate version of the BRZ. Study proves men prefer cars to women
Thu, 28 Nov 2013MEN FEEL more emotion when looking at beautiful car design than they do when looking at beautiful women, new research has discovered. To coincide with the launch of its new Concept Coupe, Volvo carried out the study to see exactly what makes men and women tick when it comes to aesthetics. Images of the Concept Coupe, which has been designed to create a much more ‘expressive’ link to potential customers’ emotions, were shown to individuals who were wearing brain activity-measuring equipment in sequence with images of old or ‘ugly’ cars, crying and happy babies, plus images of people traditionally considered to be ‘beautiful’.
Mazda MX-5 Yusho gets 238bhp
Tue, 05 Jun 2012The Mazda MX-5 Yusho Concept has been revealed at the the Leipzig Auto Show with 238bhp from a supercharged engine. It’s not just the German car makers that have turned up to the Leipzig Auto Show with some interesting new cars, the Japanese have managed it to in the shape of the Mazda MX-4 Yusho Concept. The MX-5 Yusho (Yusho means Victory in Japanese) is a supercharged and titivated version of the regular MX-5 with 17″ grey alloys, lowered suspension, a boot lid spoiler and carbon fibre rear diffuser.
