This listing is for a brand new, genuine DEI (Design Engineering) Titanium Heat Shield Blanket for the Subaru WRX, STi and other universal T25/T28 turbos. This is the shield / blanket only, it does not include any other parts.

Titanium Turbo Shields with LR Technology provide the ultimate means of reducing turbo lag while serving as a superior heat barrier - shielding and protecting engine components, hoods and painted surfaces and offers a very cool looking carbon fiber look.

Made from pulverized volcanic rock then strained into a fiber material, Titanium Turbo Shields can withstand direct heat up to 1800 F and 2500 F radiant heat. This means retaining more heat in the turbine and less damaging underhood heat. The result is a cooler air intake temperature and a boost in horsepower!

Stronger and more durable than other turbo blankets or shields, Titanium Turbo Shields include a hi-temp rated silica insulation padding under the tight outer layer for extra added protection against extreme turbo-generated heat.

Anchoring hooks incorporated to secure shield
Custom fit for easy install
Ultimate thermal barrier reduces turbo lag
LR Technology to prolong lifespan of shield
Hi-Tech custom carbon fiber look
Improved durability against abrasions, temperatures, and vibration

T25/T28 Shield:
Outer circumference: 19”
Inner width: approx 2-1/2”

Ford has announced that the C-Max and Grand C-Max can now be had with the 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine with either 100PS or 125PS. It looks like Ford are determined to offer the little 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine in every car they make. In fact, if they still built a proper D-Segement car like the Scorpio it would probably find its way there too.

Fri, 15 Feb 2013

Koenigsegg has released a teaser image for a new Koenigsegg at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, which will be a customised Agera S. The last news we had from the intrepid Swedes at Koenigsegg was news of a new model for China – the Koenigsegg One:1, when we were exclusively able to reveal that the One:1 was a run of five cars for China that will deliver 1hp for every 1kg of weight. Now, we have a teaser image from Koenigsegg of a car that’s heading for the Geneva Motor Show next month, and all Koenigsegg has officially revealed is the teaser image (above) and a single line of information: “Celebrate 0 – 100 – 10 with Koenigsegg Automotive at Geneva 2013″.
