This is Audi’s idea of a TT in the GT3 RS or Superleggera mould: the TT Ultra Quattro concept. Thanks to a ruthless diet and an uprated 2.0-litre TFSI turbo petrol engine, the all-wheel drive TT Ultra will launch to 62mph in 4.2sec, (1.3sec faster than a regular Audi TTS) and hit 173mph flat out. Toyota Trucks get TRD accessories at Chicago Auto Show

In pursuit of the Ford Raptor, the just-announced aftermarket Lingenfelter Reaper and who knows how many other desert-stompin' pickups and SUVs, Toyota introduced the TRD Pro Series of off-road vehicle packages at the Chicago Auto Show. The Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner each get kits designed by Toyota Racing Development that will be installed at the factory. All TRD Pro Series kits will include: - TRD Bilstein remote-reservoir shocks - TRD-tuned front springs - TRD front skid plate - A bunch of cosmetic touches like TRD floor mats and shift knobs.

Nissan GT-R tweaked for 2009 with more power

By Ben Pulman Motor Industry 09 December 2008 11:30 The Nissan GT-R still hasn’t gone on sale in Europe and it's already been treated to a few tweaks - new for 2009 will be more power, revised suspension, different wheels and tyres, plus a price hike. Quite, but the increase is a mere 5bhp, taking the output of Nissan's 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 from 473 to 478bhp. Nissan says the extra grunt comes from the fine tweaking of the electronics, though torque remains unchanged at 432lb ft.
