Wheeleze II Wheel Bar Wheels-3/8" Bolt with three piece bushing, 4" diameter x 1 1/4" wide.
"3/8" precision anodized spacers are made of 12L14 steel with yellow zinc dichromate finish to resist corrosion, 4" diameter x 1 1/4" wide Wheeleze II tensile strength in excess of 10,500 psi and has no compression but retains the additives that allow the wheel to live at extreme centripetal force and it gets another additive that allows the wheel to have an abrasion index of over 550 on a base index of 100... in plain language, you can’t wear them out by running on them at 200 mph for the whole quarter with lots of down force. Wheeleze II are made specifically for three applications: 1. Front Wheel Drive cars apable of trap speeds of greater than 200mph with down force. 2. Nitromethane and methanol dragsters and F/C’s that get into a potential blow over. In these applications the doubled strength of the wheel should allow the car to ‘stay on the wheel’ as opposed to the wheel either being overwhelmed or bending. 3. Pure wheel standing exhibition cars that run the whole quarter mile on the wheelie bar wheels. Two Wheels. |

Next-gen Nissan Versa coming to U.S.

A sketch released shows a more sculpted and lined compact than the current car. Nissan sold 7,021 Versas in September in the United States, an increase of 47 percent over the same period in 2009.
Local Motors announces winners of Terra Prix 2085 design competition
Wed, 13 Jul 2011Local Motors has announced the 10 winners of its Terra Prix 2085 Concept Design competition. The competition brief asked entrants to design a two-person race vehicle that could navigate every terrain imaginable on every continent, as well as a support craft for any maintenance needed throughout the race. The support craft had to be able to carry tools, extra parts, any potential module changes for different terrain as well as enough 'fuel' for both vehicles to move between three major checkpoints.

Sun, 22 Jul 2012The Porsche 918 Spyder – Porsche’s hybrid replacement for the Carrera GT – has been caught on video at the Nurburgring. Incredibly, it’s more that two years since Porsche took the wraps of the 918 Spyder at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, yet we’re still more than a year away from actually seeing production cars. But Porsche are putting their time to good use. Porsche has made a few cosmetic tweaks already from the original 918 Concept, but they’ve also let it be known that the 918 Spyder will get a 550bhp 4.6 litre V8 to go with its electric motors on the front wheels (one less motor than originally envisaged – there was going to be one one the back axle too), which will make the 918 Spyder a FWD Porsche when in EV mode.
