We also have options to customize our decals as well. Google has a fleet of eco-cars – plug-in Evs and range extenders – for employees’ use and runs a biodiesel shuttle for ‘Googlers’ to get to work. It’s also been busy building recharging points in and around its home in Mountain view.

The Peugeot 308 CC launches in the UK on 1st June As an incentive to get buyers up and running quickly, Peugeot offered a very highly specced 308 CC – the GT100 Limited Edition – to the first 100 buyers in the UK, who not only got a lot more kit but also get their new cars ahead of the official launch. But, with a couple of weeks to go to the first regular cars hitting UK showrooms, Peugeot has announced that the 308 CC GT1 LE has sold out. Which is good news for them, but not so great for those hoping to get the extra kit.

No new models at Geneva for Land Rover, but there is the new Range Rover Evoque Black Design Pack, Evoque 9-speed auto ‘box and electric Land Rover Defender. But despite no new models from Land Rover or Range Rover, there are new options and new technology on offer. Probably of most interest is the new 9-speed auto ‘box for the Range Rover Evoque – replacing the current 6-speed auto box which should offer a lot more relaxing – and economical cruise – on motorways as well as make change more seamless.
